Another wet week here again, which of course means more time for crafting YAY!
Today I have a step by step tutorial for you of how I made these New Baby Cards, using Graphic 45's Little Darlings paper.
Materials you will need: (to make 1 of each card)
Graphic 45 -
Little Darlings set:1 sheet 12 x 12 "New Arrival" (#4500448)
1 sheet 12 x 12 "Baby Borders" (#4500453)
1 sheet 12 x 12 "Rock-a-Bye" (#4500447)
Stampin' Up! -
3 x A4 sheets of Crumb Cake Card-stock
- Crumb Cake ink pad
Twiddleybitz - 3 x square card bases 13 x 13 cm - Cream (or make your own)
3 x 13 cm lengths of ruffled ribbon (1 x pink & 2 x blue)
Tools needed:
Hot glue gun
Tape runner, glue or your favourite adhesive
Bone folder
Paper trimmer or equivalent
Mcgill circle hand punch 3mm (optional)
Step 1.
Cut out all your design pieces in the following sizes: (quantities are for 1 card only if you are going to make all 3 cards you will need to cut 3 of each)
b) Add the blue patterned piece - place approximately 1 cm down from the top and 1 cm in from the left.
e) Place the large image approximately 2 cm from the edge a overlapping the banner.
g) Lastly add the Little Darlings sentiment to the bottom right corner of the card.

Step 2:
Cut out all your card stock pieces

I numbered all of the pieces so I knew what order to place them on the card.
I used the following template to make the most of my card stock:
Step 3:
Ink up all the edges of your cut pieces with crumb cake ink pad. I just ran the side of the paper over the ink pad it's self. At this stage you can use the hand punch to punch the edges of your small stamp piece.
Step 4:
Attach all of your Graphic 45 pieces to your card stock

You should end up with all of these:
Step 5:Layering all the pieces onto the card.
a) Start with number 1 (large spotted piece) straight onto the card front:
c) Glue down the ribbon using the hot glue placed about 4 cm down from the top of the card.
d) Add the blue baby banner
e) Place the large image approximately 2 cm from the edge a overlapping the banner.
f) Add in the postage stamp image to the bottom corner of the large image on a slight angle.
You should now have completed 1 card - follow the steps again to create the others.
